Hearst Elementary is committed to providing all students with a rigorous curriculum integrated with exposure to the Arts. Our school is dedicated to encouraging healthy living and an appreciation for the world around us. Our staff work as a team to promote a positive atmosphere from PK through 5th grade.

Hearst Playground Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
 
The Mayor’s Office has scheduled a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Hearst Playground for Friday April 16th at 2:00 PM. Please spread the word to all interested parties, and we hope to see you there!

Renderings of the new Hearst Playground have been provided by DC Parks and Recreation. The local community and Hearst are proud to be working with DCPR to get the new playground built prior to SY2009-2010 beginning in August. Please click on the attachment links below to view the renderings.
