Welcome to our New Principal, Dr. Bergeron!

Dr. Deborah Bergeron comes to Hearst from Jennie Dean Elementary School in Manassas, Virginia where she served as Assistant Principal. Dr. B, as she is known by her students, has been working in education in some capacity for 27 years. She earned a Bachelor's in K-12 Education from Southwest Texas State University and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Education Leadership and a PhD in Education Policy and Psychology from George Mason University.

When she's not at school, Dr. B loves to run, play the guitar, read, write and hang out with her family, which includes Mark and their four kids, Harrison, Samantha, Connor and Annabel, the dog, Walter, and three cats, Webster, Gideon and Dora.

Dr. B is excited to join the Hearst family and is looking forward to a working with teachers, students and the entire Hearst community to ensure all students at Hearst reach their academic potential.
