Please join us in celebrating Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week the week of Monday May 2nd to Thursday May 5th.  Note there is no school on Friday May 6th. 

We appreciate our Hearst Teachers and Staff throughout the year but Teacher Appreciation Week allows us to make each day special for them.  This year the PTA has generously offered to sponsor most of the activities however, we thought it would make it even more special if families got involved to say thanks.  We encourage everyone to say thank you to our wonderful Hearst teachers and staff!

Here is what we have planned:

(i) Monday and Thursday are PTA sponsored days, (ii) Tuesday and Wednesday are your days to contribute and here's how:

Monday-Breakfast Appreciation(PTA Sponsored): The PTA will host a wholesome breakfast to help our teachers get a good start to the week!  We need 5 parent volunteers for set up and decorations.  The time will be emailed separately to the volunteers. Please send an email to Thary or myself if you can help.

Tuesday- Flower Day OR Gift card Day: Have your child say “Thank You” by bringing a flower/bouquet OR, a gift card which are both generous ways to show your appreciation.  

Wednesday- Family Card Appreciation Day: Families, this is your chance to have fun creating a card that is a one-of-a-kind design! Design your own “Card of Appreciation”. Parents, make sure to remind your child to pack it into their school bag and more importantly to remember to give it to their teacher.

Wednesday- Appreciation post lunch treats (PTA sponsored): The PTA will provide afternoon snacks and treats.   

Thursday- Appreciation Lunch (PTA sponsored):  The PTA will host a Luncheon for all school teachers and staff.  We need 5 parent volunteers for set up and decorations. The time will be emailed separately to the volunteers. Please send an email to Thary or myself if you can help.
