What a great week it has been!

Students have been busy between continued work on reading and math and trips to The Kennedy Center, Pumpkin Patch and Peter and the Wolf in Glen Echo Park. Whew!

And, of course, we held our first ever APTT meetings. The initial feedback from these sessions has been wonderful. We look forward to improving the overall process and continuing to bring parents into the academic loop here at Hearst. 

New Staff Highlight

Yvette Gilmore is a new Kindergarten Aide at Hearst this year. She works with Ms Anderson and has become part of the Hearst family quickly! Ms Gilmore has a 10 year old daughter, so she understands what parents face on a daily basis.
