Weekly Update September 13th

Week #3 has been very exciting at Hearst. Although our Redskins disappointed us Monday night, Hearst Owls played like champions all week long! This week included Back To School Night, which was a bit of an experiment, since we’ve never done one all in one night. Although I loved having everyone in the building on one night, reflecting on the event I think it is necessary to rethink things. I understand some parents could not make it into the cafeteria. And, the rain didn’t help us much either.

But, overall what a great night!  Thanks to all of our super staff who worked hard to provide parents with a rich BTS Night experience. It takes all of us to pull that off – custodians, office staff, paras and of course, our super teachers!

It’s going to be a stellar year here at Hearst!
