It’s an annual tradition — the PTA buys lunch for the teachers and staff at Hearst, and parents volunteer to watch the pre-K classrooms, lunch periods, and recess periods. This year’s luncheon will be on Tuesday, December 19. Please sign up here to volunteer, and note that there are two options (the 11:45am-12:45pm or the 12:15pm-1:15pm time slots)! It's easy and fun, and it was a fascinating window into the school day. And it’s a great way to show your appreciation for our wonderful Hearst teachers and staff!
Come be a part of this once-a-year event! And because there will be Hearst staff onsite during this event, volunteers do not need to have a DCPS clearance. Finally, please note that this is on Tuesday the 19th, not Monday the 18th (as noted on the hard copies of the December schedule that went home with the kids).
