Hearst Families

At Hearst, we know that our families make all the difference!

We love our families who hail from all over the city and hope that you will use this website as a tool to help you and and your child's experience at Hearst.

Below we offer information about before and after care, enrollment, autism at Hearst, and resources for making decisions about smart phones and social media. We have also included important parent resources from DCPS.

School Day Reminders

  • Line up starts at 8:30 either on the field or in the gym (depending on weather). Kids are walked to classrooms at 8:45. Students are counted tardy after 8:45.
  • Students wanting breakfast should arrive by 8:15 to give themselves time to eat. Breakfast service stops at 8:30.
  • Pick up is at 3:15. If you need to pick your child up early, please do so before 3:00.
